Pastor Scott is a native of Fort Wayne, graduated in 1973 from Purdue University with an A.A.S. in Mental Health Technology. He is a 1976 graduate of Indiana University with a B.A. in Sociology. He has additional degrees from the Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado (M.Div. 1981) and Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio (D.Min 2003).

He is married to Toni, also a United Methodist pastor. They have three children: Matthew, Christopher, and Dominique.

Pastor Carmer has served churches across the North Indiana Conference including assignments in rural, small town, suburban, and urban areas.

Christie has been serving Calvary church as secretary for several years now.  In addition to her duties as secretary, she also puts together the church newsletter, the Booster, and mails it to the congregation.

Mindy Vodde has been our church organist since 1991.  She provides accompaniment for the hymns and provides beautiful preludes, offertories, and postludes for our congregation.  She also helps out with accompanying the Sanctuary Choir and even sings with the choir!  We are honored and blessed to have her on our music staff.  She has been happily married to John Vodde since 1996.
