She looks forward to July 1 and through prayer discovering what God’s future vision is for our faith journey together.

Doug Speakman, Director of Music and Spiritual Formation
I started singing in church choir at age 7 at First United Methodist Church in Van Wert, Ohio and grew up in the music ministry of that church.  I have studied organ at that church with Gloria Wendel. Also, have studied choral conducting and education at Ohio State University.  I am retired from Kroger with 30 years of service. I have been in church music for the past thirty-some years serving United Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, American Baptist, United Methodist, and Church of the Brethren denominations.  I have been involved in church music for 57 years of my life. I consider this a great privilege and honor to serve in this manner.
